A law firm seeks a Domestic Relations Attorney for its Sheffield Village office. The successful candidate will join the Domestic Relations/Private Services department, providing legal support and representation in family law matters. Duties

• Analyze, draft, and negotiate legal documents related to family law.
• Conduct thorough legal research.
• Provide counsel and support in adoption, divorce, and custody matters.
• Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements.
• Stay informed on Ohio State and Federal family law.
• Build strong client relationships with empathy and reassurance.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 0-7 years of family law experience; appellate experience is a plus.
• Understanding of state and federal court procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and task ownership.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to professionalism and teamwork.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Ohio.
