Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience and a passion for advocating for injured clients. This role involves managing cases from intake through trial.

Duties

  • Manage a full caseload of personal injury cases from pre-litigation through trial.
  • Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
  • Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide exceptional client communication and guidance.
  • Collaborate with support staff and junior attorneys.

Requirements

  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.
  • 5-8 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred).
  • Trial experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
