Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled Transactional Corporate, Estates & Trusts Associate to join their team in Sacramento, California. This position offers the opportunity to work with experienced attorneys across various practice areas, providing sophisticated planning work and fostering long-term client relationships.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive advice and counsel on estate planning, business planning, and real estate transactions.
  • Draft documents to implement client planning.
  • Assist clients with trust administration, trust disputes, and probate matters.
  • Communicate directly with clients and manage matters efficiently from start to finish.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • 3 to 5 years of substantive experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate proceedings, corporate analysis, and real estate transactions.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Client-focused mindset and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
