Duties

  • Lead and manage complex litigation cases, including strategy, discovery, depositions, trial preparations, court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Provide strategic counsel and advice to clients on litigation risks and opportunities.
  • Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other interested parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters related to ongoing litigation.
  • Build and manage client relationships to promote business development.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of relevant litigation experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of managing and resolving insurance defense and complex litigation cases.
  • Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Nebraska.
  • Focus on client service and responsiveness.
  • Produce high-quality, efficient work with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communicate complex concepts concisely and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Take ownership of work and handle cases with minimal oversight.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
