Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Medical Malpractice Defense and Long-Term Care Facilities litigation team in Boston, MA. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases independently while collaborating with experienced partners in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in Massachusetts state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in taking and defending depositions.
• Strong advocacy skills and ability to draft and argue motions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
