A law firm seeks an experienced Corporate/Business Transactions Attorney in San Luis Obispo, CA. Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts, purchase agreements, and operating agreements.
  • Advise clients on entity formation, governance, and structuring.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and business sales from letter of intent through closing.
  • Assist with financing transactions, including equity and debt arrangements.
  • Identify and manage legal risk in commercial transactions.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership (or ability to waive in).
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate/business transactions.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
  • Experience in a small firm or boutique environment is a plus.
