Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in Riverside, California, is actively seeking a full-time Immigration Associate Attorney with a focus on employment-based immigration matters. This role offers a dynamic legal environment where the selected candidate will handle a diverse caseload, engage with clients directly, and contribute to the ongoing success of the firm's immigration practice. Hybrid work flexibility is available following a probationary period.

Duties:

  • Draft and revise immigration petitions and application packets

  • Develop and present tailored legal strategies for clients based on individual case assessments

  • Draft persuasive legal memoranda and supporting documents for a variety of employment-based immigration petitions

  • Meet with clients to collect case materials and explain complex immigration processes in an accessible way

  • Monitor deadlines and progress through legal software and tracking systems

  • Ensure precision and clarity in all written materials, including forms and correspondence

  • Prepare clients for, and represent them during, USCIS and related immigration interviews

  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to meet internal and external expectations

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervising attorneys or based on client needs

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • At least 1 year of experience handling employment-based immigration matters

  • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational capabilities

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation

  • Comfortable working in a client-facing role

Education:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar

Skills:

  • Bilingual skills strongly preferred (any second language)

  • Proficiency with case management tools and legal research platforms

  • Effective interpersonal communication for client and team interaction

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently under deadlines

Job Location:
