Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join the Banking and Finance Practice Team in Grand Haven, MI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in banking and finance matters, representing commercial lenders and borrowers in various transactions.

Duties

  • Represent commercial lenders and borrowers in single- and multi-bank deals.
  • Structure, negotiate, and document a variety of credit facilities.
  • Manage complex files and supervise client relationships.
  • Lead deals with a high level of responsiveness and client service.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in banking and finance matters.
  • Significant experience in working capital lines of credit, term loan facilities, real estate facilities, and asset-based lending.
  • Admitted to the Michigan Bar or eligible for prompt admission.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
