Duties

  • Supervise and mentor a team of removal defense attorneys.
  • Provide regular case review, legal guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Support attorney professional development through mentorship and training.
  • Review and guide litigation strategy for complex removal defense cases.
  • Ensure high-quality preparation and filing of applications for relief.
  • Appear in Immigration Court and before the BIA as needed.
  • Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders when appropriate.
  • Assist in developing legal best practices and internal protocols.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Texas preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of immigration removal defense experience.
  • Experience appearing before Immigration Courts and/or the BIA.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
