Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation associate with 1-4 years of experience to join their team in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Irvine. The role focuses on defending complex product liability matters and commercial disputes, working with policyholders, brokers, and insurers on various insurance claims.

Duties

• Take depositions, attend hearings, and mediations as required.
• Draft pleadings and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
• Draft interrogatories and document demands.
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Submit filings to the court.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in California is required.
• Commercial litigation experience is required.
• Asbestos/toxic tort experience is ideal.
• Courtroom experience including motions is required.
• Trial experience is required.

• J.D./LLM

• Licensed to practice law in California
