Job Overview:
A growing and client-focused law firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Litigation Attorney to join its team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong litigation background, trial experience, and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients. The position involves full case management, from client consultation through trial, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes for personal injury claims.

Location:

  • Phoenix, Arizona

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters

  • Conduct client meetings and provide legal counsel with empathy and professionalism

  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documentation

  • Represent clients in court, including handling trials as 1st chair when needed

  • Evaluate claims, develop litigation strategy, and negotiate settlements

  • Interact with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel

  • Coordinate with internal staff and legal teams to ensure case progression

  • Maintain organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability

  • At least 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury

  • Proven experience as 1st chair in trials

  • Ability to manage complex cases independently

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively

  • Proactive, self-directed, and results-driven

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona

Skills:

  • Strong trial advocacy and litigation strategy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Effective negotiation and settlement techniques

  • Case evaluation and legal research proficiency

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to legal representation
