Complex Commercial Litigation Mid-Level Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a dedicated mid-level associate to join its complex commercial litigation group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of broad-based litigation experience, preferably in a top-tier law firm or as a Federal Court judicial clerk.

Duties

• Coordinate litigation matters in Illinois State and Federal courts through all phases.
• Manage discovery in large, high-stakes cases.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue motions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of general litigation experience.
• Experience in a top-tier law firm or as a Federal Court judicial clerk preferred.
• Admitted to the Illinois State Bar.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Illinois State Bar.

Skills

• Strong writing, research, and case management skills.
• Excellent organization, analytical, writing, and verbal skills.
