Associate - Global Transportation Finance

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate to join the Global Transportation Finance team in Miami, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex international and domestic transactions, focusing on financing, leasing, acquisition, and restructuring of aviation, rail, maritime, and general equipment assets.

Duties

• Collaborate with shareholders and participate in business development activities.
• Engage in client-facing activities and provide excellent client service.
• Manage multiple transactional matters simultaneously.
• Draft and negotiate contracts effectively.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of transactional experience at a law firm.
• Experience in securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, or related fields.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Admitted in or taking steps to become admitted in California, Illinois, Texas, or Florida.

Education

• J.D. degree or equivalent with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
