Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and liability claims.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
  • 8-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
