This role is suited for candidates with at least three years of experience handling wills, trusts, probate administration, trust disputes, and related transactional matters. Duties

  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills and trusts

  • Handle probate administration and trust administration matters

  • Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax strategies

  • Represent clients in probate and trust-related disputes

  • Assist with entity formation and maintenance

  • Review and prepare contracts related to estate and business planning

  • Collaborate with other attorneys on complex planning and dispute matters

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and probate law

  • Proficiency in preparing foundational estate planning documents

  • Familiarity with California probate procedures and laws

  • Experience in probate and trust litigation preferred but not required

  • Strong client communication and counseling skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
