Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Monument, Colorado. This full-time, onsite position focuses on estate planning, business planning, probate, and trust administration. The role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships and work closely with a supportive legal team.

Duties

  • Conduct estate planning consultations with clients.
  • Design and implement estate and business planning strategies.
  • Draft trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related documents.
  • Guide clients through probate and trust administration matters.
  • Participate in educational events and community outreach.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree with an active license to practice law in Colorado.
  • At least 1 year of estate planning experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting client meetings and drafting estate or business planning documents preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional client service.
  • Excellent listening skills and a thoughtful, client-centered approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent when needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
