Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Las Vegas, NV, to represent institutional mortgage lenders and servicers in bankruptcy matters. The role focuses on protecting and enforcing secured-creditor rights in Chapters 7, 13, and 11, providing comprehensive legal strategies throughout the bankruptcy case lifecycle.

Duties

• Represent creditors in Nevada Bankruptcy Courts.
• Develop and implement legal strategies for bankruptcy cases.
• Advise clients on complex bankruptcy and regulatory compliance issues.
• Manage high case volumes and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attend hearings and mediations throughout Nevada.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as an Attorney in Bankruptcy.
• At least 1 year representing creditors in Nevada Bankruptcy Courts.
• Active member of the Bar in good standing.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and rules.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

• Active Bar membership.
