Tax Credit and Impact Finance Tax Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated tax attorney with seven or more years of transactional tax experience to join their Tax Credit and Impact Finance group in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in community development transactions utilizing new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and/or renewable energy investment tax credits.

Duties

• Advise clients on tax credit transactions and impact finance matters.
• Draft and review legal documents related to tax credits.
• Collaborate with a team to develop innovative tax solutions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on tax-related issues.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of transactional tax experience.
• Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Active license to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
