Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney for its Litigation and Intellectual Property units, based in Miami, FL, with options for remote work. The role involves enhancing legal service delivery through people, process, and technology, collaborating across various departments and reporting to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation.

Duties

• Lead projects to streamline legal service delivery and optimize client service.
• Coordinate technology integration, including generative AI, into legal practices.
• Serve as a resource for practice resource questions and technology adoption.
• Support large litigation teams with matter management and workflow design.
• Develop client-facing solutions and improve practice content utilization.
• Educate legal professionals on firm resources and technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience as a litigation or IP attorney in a large law firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications in legal services.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction.
