Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Intellectual Property in Cerritos, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in IP litigation matters, supporting a variety of cases including patent, copyright, and trademark litigation.

  • Duties
  • Engage in trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation in federal court.
  • Provide general IP-related advice and counsel.
  • Conduct document and data reviews; manage e-discovery.
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Perform law and motion work.
  • Attend court hearings and argue substantive motions.
  • Participate in arbitration and/or trial proceedings.
  • Prepare trademark, copyright, and patent applications; respond to office actions.
  • Requirements
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of California.
  • Experience with the Trademark Office, Patent Office, and ITC is a plus.
  • Transactional and licensing experience is a plus.
  • General business/commercial and employment litigation experience is a plus.
  • Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Certifications
  • California State Bar admission.
  • Skills
