Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney specializing in Post-Conviction Relief in San Francisco, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in both criminal and immigration law within an established firm. The attorney will manage their caseload, collaborate with a team, and report to the Supervising Attorney.

Duties

  • Advise clients on legal rights and draft legal documents.
  • Handle post-conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate and expungements.
  • Attend motion hearings and advise clients on strategies.
  • Manage court appearances, draft motions, and conduct legal research.
  • Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents.

Requirements

  • Experience in criminal defense or immigration law.
  • Experience handling criminal cases at state and local levels.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Valid Bar license.

Skills

  • Experience in motion processing.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
