A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join their Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves working with a team of attorneys in the Renewable Energy group, engaging in diverse areas such as project development, commercial transactions, and financing.

Duties

  • Assist in project development and transactional matters within the renewable energy sector.
  • Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with team members on mergers, acquisitions, and real estate transactions.
  • Engage in financing and tax credit matters, including ITCs and PTCs.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or related fields.
  • Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Minnesota.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in Minnesota or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

  • Proficiency in negotiating and drafting legal documents.
  • Familiarity with tax credit matters is a plus.
