Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters.
• Perform legal research using all available resources.
• Draft documents for legal representation and collaborate with senior attorneys.
• Formulate and issue well-founded legal opinions.
• Conduct negotiations to resolve client matters.
• Maintain positive client contact and confidentiality.
• Advise and communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Travel locally and statewide to attend to client needs.
• Work more than 40 hours per week as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Iowa.
• Completion of Continuing Legal Education requirements annually.
• Ability to commute or relocate to West Des Moines, IA.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Iowa Bar License.
