Duties

  • Advise, counsel, and train employees on immigration laws and regulations.
  • Represent employers before administrative agencies in employment-based immigration matters.
  • File various Nonimmigrant Visas and Permanent Residence Applications.
  • Represent employers in court, mediations, and arbitrations related to immigration work.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years' experience in employment-based immigration.
  • Experience with non-immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, E-1/2/3, and TN filings.
  • Experience with immigrant visa filings, including PERM, EB-1, and AOS.
  • High volume practice experience preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nebraska.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Nebraska.

Skills

  • Strong employment-related immigration work experience.
