Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join their Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Denver. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in real estate finance, including loan origination and asset management.

Duties

  • Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Handle mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions.
  • Oversee asset management and workout processes.
  • Run transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
  • Engage in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of broad real estate finance experience.
  • Experience in large law firm settings.
  • Superb writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage transactions for borrowers and lenders.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
