Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Discovery Attorney to join their Business Litigation team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and demonstrate strong expertise in electronic discovery processes.

Duties

  • Conduct custodian interviews and data mapping exercises for ESI identification.
  • Coordinate preservation and collection efforts with digital forensic vendors and client IT personnel.
  • Manage data processing and culling procedures effectively.
  • Oversee linear and technology-assisted review (TAR) projects within Relativity.
  • Supervise review teams and ensure quality control through production.
  • Negotiate and draft ESI protocols and production specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience in electronic discovery.
  • Admitted, active, and in good standing in Ohio.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Relevant certifications in electronic discovery are advantageous.

Skills

  • Proficiency in managing projects within Relativity.
  • Strong understanding of ESI identification and data mapping.
  • Ability to coordinate with digital forensic vendors and IT personnel.
  • Experience in negotiating and drafting ESI protocols.
