Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Attorney to support a dynamic real estate practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with a solid background in title work, contract negotiation, and closings. The position requires statewide travel, including evening and occasional Saturday appointments. This opportunity is offered through a legal recruiting agency on behalf of the hiring firm.

Location:

  • Needham, Massachusetts

Duties:

  • Perform title rundowns, reviews, and recordings

  • Review and revise Purchase and Sale agreements

  • Conduct refinance and purchase closings

  • Communicate with lenders, realtors, and clients

  • Use real estate industry software and digital platforms

  • Travel throughout Massachusetts for client closings, including evenings and occasional weekends

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential real estate law

  • Active and good standing membership with the Massachusetts Bar

  • Valid Massachusetts Notary Public Commission

  • Reliable transportation

  • Evening and weekend availability as needed

  • Bar admission or Notary commission in neighboring states is a plus but not required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Massachusetts Bar admission

  • Massachusetts Notary Public Commission

Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of title review and recording procedures

  • Proficient in real estate contract review and revision

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
