A law firm seeks a motivated Attorney to join their team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Duties

• Negotiate and resolve pending litigation.
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Attend hearings and trials within the assigned region (mileage and travel expenses reimbursed).
• Collaborate with staff and opposing counsel to achieve fair, efficient case resolutions.

Requirements

• Active law license in Virginia.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Familiarity with courtroom and civil procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using technology.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Collection or litigation experience preferred; industry training provided for the right candidate.

Education

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Virginia.

Certifications

• Active law license in Virginia.
