Duties

• Manage all phases of litigation and arbitration.
• Oversee state and federal insurance claims, including pre-litigation and litigation phases.
• Review and analyze contracts for indemnity obligations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda of law.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting requests and analyzing responses.
• Take and defend depositions and handle court appearances.
• Engage in business development activities and build networks.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in a law firm's litigation group.
• California Bar membership in good standing.
• Experience with depositions and court proceedings.
• Strong drafting, writing, and research skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with sophisticated disputes and investigations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Education

• J.D. required.
