Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Inventory Attorney in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves supporting litigation functions, enhancing accuracy and efficiency, and coordinating workstreams within assigned torts. The attorney will maintain deadline controls and mentor paralegals to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Duties

  • Understand litigation requirements and translate them into operational activities.
  • Maintain deadline controls and ensure escalation protocols are followed.
  • Drive filing readiness by ensuring documentation supports timely decisions.
  • Deliver a client experience based on trust and insight.
  • Assist in coordinating tasks for paralegals and case managers.
  • Oversee compliance with court rules and filing protocols.
  • Manage post-filing litigation requirements, including pleadings and discovery.
  • Collaborate to develop efficient procedures and improve workflows.
  • Mentor and train legal support staff to enhance performance.

Requirements

Education

  • JD required

Certifications

  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required

Skills

  • Experience with complex litigation preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
  • Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.
