Job Overview:

A nationally recognized trial law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4 or more years of experience to join its expanding team. The firm is known for its strength in general civil litigation and product liability defense, with a track record of high-profile trial work across multiple jurisdictions. This position provides direct courtroom and client-facing experience, including depositions, motion practice, and trial support. Ideal for attorneys who thrive in a dynamic, hands-on litigation environment.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through trial

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

  • Conduct legal research and formulate litigation strategies

  • Handle court appearances, motion hearings, and depositions

  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex legal matters

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and updates

  • Participate in trial preparation and assist with all trial-related tasks

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience

  • Background in product liability defense or general liability preferred

  • Proven ability to manage litigation matters independently

  • Experience in handling court appearances and depositions

  • Strong commitment to client service and legal excellence

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in TX Dallas, Houston, Corpus Christi roles)

    • New Mexico (for Albuquerque, Santa Fe roles)

  • Good standing with respective state bar association

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • Ability to balance multiple high-priority matters in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients, co-counsel, and court personnel

  • Team-oriented with the initiative to take ownership of responsibilities
