A law firm seeks a Non-Equity Partner Attorney for its civil litigation defense practice in Los Angeles, CA. Duties

• Conduct initial evaluation of claim documentation and develop defense strategies.
• Lead defense strategy conferences with clients and insurance claims examiners.
• Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during discovery phases.
• Manage case files and coordinate with support staff.
• Review and respond to discovery requests.
• Supervise document reviews with legal team and clients.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Prepare court filings and maintain accurate time records.

Requirements

• JD degree and California bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Leadership or case supervision experience.
• Experience in personal injury, construction defect, insurance coverage, product liability, or professional liability litigation preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience in depositions and reporting to insurance carriers preferred.
• Familiarity with written and oral discovery required.
