Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney

Job Overview:
A leading Texas-based law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney to join its dynamic practice. Location:

• Dallas, TX

Duties:

• Represent creditors and debtors in complex Chapter 11 and other bankruptcy matters

• Advise clients in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings

• Handle commercial litigation associated with bankruptcy proceedings

• Develop legal strategies and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents

• Participate in business development and maintain client relationships

• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas

Requirements:

• Significant experience representing borrowers and lenders in bankruptcy and restructuring

• Prior experience with Chapter 11 proceedings (complex Chapter 11 preferred)

• Ability to manage high-value commercial cases independently

• A portable book of business is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented legal setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas or eligibility for admission

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of bankruptcy and restructuring law, including Chapter 11

• Strategic litigation, negotiation, and advisory skills

• Excellent written and oral communication

• Strong client development and relationship management

• Collaborative approach and ability to work across departments
