A law firm seeks a Family Law Senior Associate in Baltimore, MD. This position is ideal for an attorney with over four years of experience in family law, eager to engage in complex litigation and client representation.

Duties

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including separation, divorce, custody, spousal support, child support, and division of marital property.
  • Manage contested custody cases and divorce matters from inception through resolution.
  • Handle motion hearings, discovery, negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Maintain and manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Appear in court regularly and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of meaningful family law experience.
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
  • Admission to practice in Maryland and Washington, DC (Virginia admission a plus).
  • Ability and willingness to appear in court.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client-management skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Maryland and Washington, DC.
