Duties

  • Draft, review, or revise non-disclosure agreements and commercial agreements.
  • Draft and review licensing agreements for software and intellectual property.
  • Conduct research and draft legal memoranda on compliance issues.
  • Assist with audit processes for compliance with data privacy laws.
  • Coordinate with non-US lawyers for global data privacy compliance.
  • Draft and review data privacy policies for the US market.
  • Assist with due diligence in M&A transactions.
  • Respond to clients professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and staff.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • 2-5 years of experience in data privacy and commercial law.
  • Federal and state court experience is a plus.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to multi-task.
