Energy and Infrastructure M&A Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with a minimum of two years of experience in energy and/or infrastructure M&A and joint ventures to join their team in Santa Monica, CA. The team represents a variety of market participants on M&A and joint venture transactions across the energy and infrastructure spectrum, including renewables, conventional power generation, oil & gas, infrastructure, energy transition, and energy tech sectors.

Duties

• Participate in M&A and joint venture transactions within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate with a global team of attorneys on complex legal matters.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients in various energy and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience in energy and/or infrastructure M&A.
• Highly motivated with excellent academic credentials.
• Superior communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of California is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
