Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented Finance Associate to join its dynamic Finance group in Boston. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in debt finance and capital markets transactions, and in securing liens under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.

Duties

  • Advise financial institutions and borrowers on sophisticated debt finance transactions.
  • Engage in asset-based, cash flow, mezzanine, high-yield debt, and debtor-in-possession transactions.
  • Support out-of-court work-outs and restructurings.
  • Collaborate with the firm's general corporate and M&A practices.

Requirements

  • Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comparable law firm experience preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Massachusetts Bar admission.
