Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare, file, and enforce mechanics' and materialmen's liens.
• Handle payment disputes, delay and disruption claims.
• Manage defective design and construction claims.
• Draft pleadings and conduct legal research.
• Prepare discovery and handle motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with trial preparation.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in construction disputes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills
