Job Overview

A law firm seeks a seasoned Commercial Litigation Attorney at the Counsel or Junior Partner level to join their office in Vienna, VA. This role offers meaningful responsibility and autonomy, requiring the attorney to manage commercial litigation matters independently and supervise junior attorneys as needed.

Duties

• Lead and manage commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Serve as day-to-day lead counsel on assigned cases.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys.
• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and handle trial work.

Requirements

• 10-20+ years of substantial commercial litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage cases and lead litigation efforts.
• Active Virginia bar admission required; DC and/or MD admission is a plus.
• A small portable book of business (approximately $200K+).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Virginia.
