Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Toxic Tort Practice Group in Dallas, TX. This role supports California-based legal teams and requires working Pacific Time Zone hours. The firm specializes in complex civil litigation, including toxic tort and product liability cases.

Duties

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload.
  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
  • Review and analyze discovery requests and responses.
  • Prepare court filings and manage e-filing processes.
  • Support trial preparation and maintain accurate time records.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in toxic tort, asbestos, or silica cases.
  • Admitted to practice in California and located in Texas.
  • Experience with California cases is advantageous.
  • Proficient in motion practice and depositions.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in California.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal matters.
