Health Care Litigation Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level attorney to support its Health Care Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This group focuses on health care reimbursement, business-to-business, and government investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business-focused health care litigation, specifically with reimbursement litigation experience. Candidates should have experience managing multiple cases, be licensed to practice in California, and possess strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.

Duties

• Represent hospitals, health systems, and other health care providers in litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with opposing counsel.
• Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to health care litigation.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on health care laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Experience in business-focused health care litigation.
• Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Experience managing multiple cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
