Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join their dynamic office in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate will work with a strong team of attorneys, focusing on auto liability cases.

Duties

• Manage and litigate cases both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prepare and respond to discovery.
• Draft briefs and motions.
• Work in the office 3-4 days a week to foster collaboration and learning among team members.
• Engage in trial preparation and potentially attend trials alongside senior attorneys.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil law.
• Strong writing skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to office culture and collaboration.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
