Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Associate to join its Corporate practice group in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience in corporate finance, working with financial institutions, private credit lenders, or borrowers in finance transactions.

Duties

  • Draft loan, security, intercreditor, and related documents.
  • Advise on covenant compliance.
  • Lead due diligence teams.
  • Manage specialists and draft documents.

Requirements

  • Three to six years of experience in corporate finance.
  • Experience with financial institutions, private credit lenders, or borrowers.
  • Excellent writing skills and superior academics.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in managing complex transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
