Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level attorney to join its Health Care Litigation Practice Group in Sacramento, CA. The role involves handling health care reimbursement, business-to-business, and government investigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business-focused health care litigation, particularly reimbursement litigation, and must be licensed to practice in California.

Duties

• Represent health care providers in litigation involving corporate disputes and reimbursement lawsuits.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with opposing counsel.
• Review contracts and legal documents related to health care litigation.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on health care laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in business-focused health care litigation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice law in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
