Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Immigration Litigation Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Duties

  • Represent clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Conduct interviews and hearings related to immigration matters.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex immigration cases.
  • Prepare and argue motions, briefs, and appeals.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze immigration issues.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony and hearings.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Manage a diverse litigation caseload with professionalism and ethics.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience.
  • Experience with immigration court proceedings and removal defense.
  • Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills.
  • Ability to manage complex litigation matters independently.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Multilingual capabilities are highly valued.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications
