Job Overview

A highly regarded U.S.-based law firm is seeking a qualified Trademark Associate with at least 3 years of experience in trademark clearance and prosecution. This position supports a nationally ranked IP practice and requires fluency in both English and Spanish. The role offers the opportunity to work with globally recognized brands on complex, high-level trademark matters.

Duties

  • Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios

  • Conduct complex clearance and prosecution work

  • Provide strategic legal counsel on global branding and IP matters

  • Work with clients in entertainment and media (preferred)

  • Draft and file legal documents related to trademarks

  • Handle a high-volume docket efficiently and accurately

  • Collaborate with team members across offices and disciplines

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in trademark law

  • Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish

  • Strong client service focus and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Proven experience with international trademark prosecution and clearance

  • Ability to work independently while being team-oriented

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • Good standing with relevant bar association

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international trademark law

  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical capabilities

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to manage client relationships and provide practical guidance
