Duties

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and strategic planning for estate matters, including wills, trusts, and healthcare directives.
  • Develop and implement estate strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure smooth asset transfer.
  • Assist clients with the probate process, managing estate assets, and resolving disputes.
  • Advise on trust creation, management, and administration to meet estate planning goals.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide current legal advice.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding estate strategies and case progress.
  • Draft and review estate-related legal documents with precision.
  • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks in estate plans.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in estate law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Proven expertise in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
