Job Overview
A law firm seeks a skilled Real Estate Attorney with at least 5 years of commercial leasing experience to join their Health Transactions Practice Group in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves working on sophisticated leasing matters, particularly within the health care industry, including hospital-physician arrangements and medical office building transactions. The position is available in Indianapolis, Milwaukee, or Troy, MI, and can be full- or part-time.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial leases.
  • Manage commercial real estate transactions from letter of intent to closing.
  • Ensure consistency and attention to detail across complex lease documents.
  • Handle multiple matters and clients efficiently.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 5 years practicing commercial real estate law.
  • Experience with ground leasing preferred but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
