Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience and will support the General Liability department. This role offers meaningful litigation experience and the opportunity to develop trial skills, with autonomy to manage cases and active mentorship.

Duties

• Manage caseload from inception through resolution.
• Gain hands-on courtroom and trial experience.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft, file, and argue substantive motions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Current member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills

• Strong litigation and trial skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently.
