Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated Estate Planning and Probate Attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join their team in Vero Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will be passionate about assisting families in protecting their wealth and navigating the probate process with confidence. This role requires a client-focused, organized professional capable of managing cases independently in a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Meet with clients to understand estate planning goals and provide strategic legal guidance.
  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and advance directives.
  • Handle probate and trust administration from intake through resolution.
  • Prepare and file probate pleadings and related court documents.
  • Attend court hearings, client meetings, and signing appointments.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax considerations, and asset protection.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client files within the firm's case management systems.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with complex planning or administration matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in estate planning and/or probate law.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional, courteous, and responsive demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education
